Sound, as part of its intangible cultural heritage, is seriously threatened in many parts of the world. That is why the Sons en Causa project records the sound heritage of some Latin American cultural contexts where, due to economic growth, irreversible changes are expected in the short and medium term in the environmental surroundings.
Starting with Sons en Causa, on June 15 we propose a multifocal installation of eight speakers in the courtyard of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park. In this case, one of the main features is that these sound recordings have been chosen by an artificial intelligence with multilayer perceptrons.
The proposal includes different activities:
A project from Orquestra del Caos with Lina Bautista, Josep Manuel Berenguer, Gonzalo Biffarella, Anna Gatz, Carlos Gómez, Mathias Klenner, Luis López Casero and Ginebra Raventós.
El so, com a part del patromini cultural immaterial, està seriosament amenaçat en molts indrets del món. És per això que el projecte Sons en Causa registra el patrimoni sonor d’alguns contexts culturals llatinoamericans on, degut al creixement econòmic, es preveun canvis irreversibles a curt i mitjà termini en l’entorn medioambiental.
A partir de preses de Sons en Causa, el pròxim 15 de juny proposem una instal·lació multifocal de vuit altaveus al pati del Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona. En aquest cas, una de les principals particularitats és que aquestes preses de so han estat escollides per una intel·ligència artificial amb perceptrons multicapa.
La proposta inclou diferents activitats:
