The solo show of Varvara & Mar talks about the creative processes in the field of deep learning. The artworks exhibited manifestate the search for aesthetics or psychedelic trips in the neural darkness of algorithmic processes and calculations, at the same time pushing the limits of neural net and as well artists’ own imagination and the language of expression.
The works presented at the exhibition can be seen as the results of psychedelic trips to latent space that artists have conducted.
The project of 3D form demonstrates a translation of semiotic spaces, in this case from text-to-mesh, that contributes towards creativity augmentation. In other words, the irregular mutations can lead to new creations that would not happen otherwise. In addition to the mutations within a system, there was an additional transformation that was introduced by the 3D printing process and material itself.

L’exposició individual de Varvara & Mar parla sobre els processos creatius en el camp de l’aprenentatge profund. Les peces d’art exposades manifesten la cerca per l’estètica o viatges psicodèlics en la foscor neural dels processos i càlculs d’algoritmes, empenyent, a la vegada, els límits de la xarxa neural així com, la pròpia imaginació i el llenguatge d’expressió de l’artista.
Les peces presentades a l’exposició es poden veure com a resultat de viatges psicodèlics a l’espai latent que els artistes han conduit.
El projecte en 3D mostra una traducció d’espais semiòtics, en aquest cas de “text-to-mesh”, que contribueix a augmentar la creativitat. En altres paraules, les mutacions irregulars poden portar a noves creacions que no podrien tenir lloc d’altra manera. A més de les mutacions dins d’un sistema, hi va haver una transformació addicional que es va introduir pel procés d’impressió 3D i el propi material.
