ELISAVA – ACTIVE ACTIVISM ACT

ACTIVE ACTIVISM ACT is an exhibition co-created and co-organized by the team of VIBE, a
consortium of European cultural agents. It will take place from April 25th. to May 1st. at the IDEAL
Center for Digital Arts of Barcelona and will be online in its digital iteration until May 31th.
AAA proposes a new cultural and content consumerism model, both online and physically, to
attract Generation Z audiences and put youth activism at the forefront. The exhibition will feature
around 15 Generation Z artists from more than seven European countries.

Samantha Hudson, XRebellion, Mabel Olea, laSADCUM, AMAGA, María Jurado i Baz Cuervo, Émergent Magazine, Maria Appleton, Dahli B. Ball, Joppe Venema, Eirinia Kalogera i Azeema
Magazine, are the new confirmations for the program, joining Afffirmations, DOES Salon x Joey
Levenson, Kai Landre, Neuro Dungeon™, No Signal Radio, Tashinga Matewe i Julen Beloki i Noé Etó. Samantha Hudson will liven up this experience and accompany the viewer through a Whatsapp chat. After adding Samantha to the contact list on a smartphone, she will share various formats with
the audience, such as voice notes, text, screenshots or videos, allowing the viewer to access all the
extra content generated by AAA artists.

The exhibition will open with an immersive musical experience, a 360º streamed concert by Kai
Landre in the great hall of IDEAL, on Monday 25th April at 8.30 pm.

ACTIVE ACTIVISM ACT és una exposició co-creada i coorganitzada per l’equip de VIBE, un
consorci d’agents culturals europeus, que tindrà lloc de forma presencial del 25 d’abril a l’1
de maig a l’IDEAL Centre de les Arts Digitals de Barcelona, i digitalment fins el 31 de maig.
AAA proposa un nou model de consum cultural i de continguts tant a nivell on-line com presencial, amb la finalitat d’atraure el públic de la Generació Z i posant en primera línia l’activisme dels joves. L’exposició comptarà amb una quinzena d’artistes de la Generació Z de més de set països europeus.

i Azeema Magazine, són les noves confirmacions que s’uneixen a Afffirmations, DOES Salon x
Joey Levenson, Kai Landre, Neuro Dungeon™, No Signal Mix, Tashinga Matewe i Understanding
Humanity, en el programa complet. Samantha Hudson dinamitzarà aquesta experiència i acompanyarà l’espectador/a a través d’un xat de whatsapp. El visitant agregarà Samantha com a contacte al seu mòbil i
ella li compartirà formats diversos com notes de veu, text, captures de pantalla, vídeos… Així, l’espectador podrà accedir a tot el contingut extra generat pels artistes d’AAA.

L’exposició s’inaugurarà amb una experiència musical immersiva, un concert de Kai Landre retransmès en streaming 360º a la sala gran de l’IDEAL, el dilluns 25 d’abril a les 20.30h.
